From one crew to a Gulf Coast solar leader

JRG Solar Solutions was founded in 2014 on a simple conviction: Houston families and businesses deserved a solar company they could actually trust. In an industry crowded with door-knockers and one-day sales tactics, we chose a harder, slower path — engineering excellence, fixed-scope pricing, and in-house crews accountable for every install.

A decade later, that startup has grown up. We've deployed 41 megawatts of clean energy, completed more than 3,200 installations, and saved Houston homeowners over $68 million on their energy bills. But the values haven't changed: show up on time, install it right the first time, and stand behind it for the life of the system.

Today JRG operates from the TotalEnergies Tower in downtown Houston, serving Houston, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Katy, Pearland, Cypress, Spring, League City, and all of Harris, Fort Bend, and Montgomery counties. We're big enough to handle multi-megawatt commercial projects and small enough that our founder still knows her installers by name.

Jean Williams

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Jean Williams founded JRG Solar Solutions in 2014 with a single crew, a used trailer, and a conviction that Houston families and businesses deserved a solar company they could actually trust. A decade later, that startup has matured into one of the region's most respected clean-energy installers.

Before founding JRG, Jean spent nine years in Gulf Coast energy operations, where she learned that engineering excellence means nothing without accountability. She built JRG on fixed-scope pricing, in-house crews, and warranties the company stands behind — principles that still govern every install today.

Jean holds an MBA in Energy Management and is a NABCEP-certified PV Installation Professional. She sits on the board of the Greater Houston Clean Energy Alliance and mentors first-generation entrepreneurs across the city.

Marcus Delgado

Vice President of Operations

PMP · OSHA 30 · 15 years in energy construction

Marcus Delgado runs the machine behind every JRG install. As VP of Operations, he oversees scheduling, procurement, safety, and the in-house crews that turn a signed proposal into a producing solar system — usually in a single day for residential projects.

With fifteen years in energy and commercial construction, Marcus has built JRG's operations around a simple promise: show up on time, install it right the first time, and leave the site cleaner than we found it. His teams maintain a 98% on-schedule completion rate.

Marcus is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds OSHA 30 certification. He personally reviews the safety plan for every commercial project JRG takes on.

Priya Nair

Director of Engineering & Field Installation

Priya Nair leads the engineering discipline that makes JRG systems perform for decades, not just years. Every array is modeled, load-calculated, and stress-tested against Gulf Coast wind and heat before a single panel is ordered.

A licensed Professional Engineer in electrical engineering, Priya spent seven years designing utility-scale solar before joining JRG to bring that rigor to homes and businesses. She architected JRG's structural review process, which has kept the company's warranty claim rate among the lowest in Texas.

Priya is NABCEP-certified in PV Technical Sales and regularly trains JRG's installation crews on the latest module, inverter, and racking technology.

Devon Carter

Head of Commercial Energy Solutions

Devon Carter helps Houston businesses turn their rooftops and parking lots into balance-sheet assets. He leads JRG's commercial division, guiding facility owners through system design, financing, demand-charge analysis, and long-term energy strategy.

Before JRG, Devon managed energy portfolios for a regional commercial real-estate group, giving him a rare fluency in both the engineering and the economics of a solar investment. He speaks the language of CFOs and facilities managers alike.

Devon is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has overseen commercial deployments totaling more than 22 megawatts across the Texas Gulf Coast.

Alyssa Tran makes going solar feel simple. She guides every JRG customer from first quote through activation, translating financing options, federal tax credits, and utility paperwork into plain, honest answers.

Alyssa built JRG's financing desk, which now offers $0-down loans, leases, and power-purchase agreements — so cost is never the reason a Houston family or business can't switch to solar. She personally follows each project to completion and stays on call long after activation.
